About MEG

Where Real-World Construction Experience Meets Modern Home Inspection

At MEG Inspections Inc., we’re not just checking boxes, we’re redefining what a home inspection means. Founded in 2025 by Mike Gravelle, a Professional Technologist in Architecture with over 15 years of hands-on experience, MEG is built on the belief that homeowners, buyers, and builders deserve more than a standard walkthrough. We bring a fresh, modern approach that combines technical precision, industry-leading tools, and a passion for helping people make informed decisions about their homes.

With roots deeply planted in Newfoundland’s residential and commercial construction industries, our team understands the realities of building, maintaining, and protecting property in this province’s extreme climate. From hurricane-force winds and freeze-thaw cycles to the demands of modern design, we’ve lived it, built it, and now we inspect it, giving our clients insights that go far beyond the surface.

At MEG, our services stretch further than traditional inspections. Whether it’s consulting on future renovations, providing cost analysis and design support, or stamping residential drawings, we’re equipped to handle the bigger picture. Every inspection is powered by Spectora’s interactive reporting system, giving clients reports that are visual, mobile-friendly, and packed with actionable information—so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

We’re proud to hold memberships with NLAR, InterNACHI, and AETTNL, ensuring every inspection is backed by professional standards, technical expertise, and accountability. Add in our team's Certifications such as, Certiified Property Inspector (CPI), Professional Technologist (P.Tech), WHMIS, CSA Infectious Control, Mold & Asbestos Awareness, and more. For you additional piece of mind, MEG is fully Insured with Errors & Omissions, and General Liability. With all this, you get a company that treats every project with the care, knowledge, and safety it deserves.

At the end of the day, we treat every inspection as if it were our own home. Because we know that behind every report is a family, an investment, and a future.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

As a rental property owner I have had multiple inspections done over the years, this was my first time using MEG inspections. I was really pleased with the job done. The report provided to me was more detailed than what was offered from previous inspectors. Will definitely be using them again on my next purchase and would recommend to anyone

I highly recommend MEG Inspections. They were incredibly responsive and offered valuable professional insights. Even with high demand for inspections, they easily accommodated my schedule. Thanks to their detailed inspection, I was able to significantly reduce my house's closing costs and have issues resolved by the seller. I would recommend there service to anyone who is dealing with closing a house. 10 out 10
